One more positive case of novel coronavirus, or Covid-19, was reported in Belgaum Turamuri village on Saturday placing the district's tally at 140. The patient is being treated at an isolation ward at the Belgaum Institute of Medical Science (BIMS) in Belgaum.

COVID-19 cases in Belgaum continued to increase as another person with travel history of Mumbai tested positive on 30th May.

According to the bulletin released by the state health department, the death has been reported.

Of the 2,922 cases, 49 are deaths, two are non-COVID caused deaths and 997 discharges.
